When Pedi-padz® II are plugged into the ZOLL AED Plus®, the defibrillator automatically detects pediatric connectivity, modifies its ECG rhythm analysis algorithm to child benchmarks, and attenuates energy levels to 50J – 70J – 85J to ensure gentle, safe defibrillation.
