The AED Plus in a fully automatic configuration — the device delivers a shock on its own when a shockable rhythm is detected.
In public places, schools, hotels, and office buildings, research shows lay rescuers often hesitate when asked to press a flashing shock button out of fear of harming the victim. The ZOLL AED Plus® Fully Automatic eliminates this critical delay. Once electrodes are placed, the device automatically evaluates heart rhythm. If a shock is required, the unit announces a clear countdown ('Stand back; delivering shock in 3, 2, 1') and delivers the shock automatically.
